Inspiring Future Leaders: The Sunshine Children’s Foundation (TSCF) Participates in Career Day at Naylor International SDA School.Accra, Ghana.

The Sunshine Children’s Foundation recently had the privilege of participating in the Career Day celebration at Naylor International SDA School, an event designed to inspire pupils to begin exploring their future career paths.

In the lead-up to the event, the Foundation donated five copies of When I Grow Up, a children’s career guidance book written by Belinda N. Lamptey, to support the school’s preparation. The book, known for its colorful illustrations and simple, rhythmic descriptions of various professions, served as a helpful resource for the pupils.

During the Career Day celebration, students confidently recited portions inspired by the book, demonstrating an understanding of different professions and creatively expressing their aspirations. It was encouraging to see how this small contribution supported the school in delivering an engaging and impactful program.

The event itself brought together professionals from diverse fields, including Lawyers, Police Officers, Research Scientists, Nurses, Accountants, Pharmacists , etc. who shared their experiences and encouraged the children to dream big and pursue their goals with dedication.

RepresentingThe Sunshine Children’s Foundation, Development Programs Associate Reginald Naabenyin Cole engaged the pupils in a session focused on the importance of education, discipline, and self-belief. The interaction encouraged the students to recognize their potential and understand that their efforts today can shape their future opportunities.

“Every great future begins with a dream nurtured today.”

At The Sunshine Children’s Foundation, we remain committed to empowering children through education, mentorship, and thoughtful interventions that help them discover and pursue their potential.
